ACCA Results Day Guide 2026 — What to Expect and What Happens Next
ACCA results day 2026 — release dates for all four exam sessions, how to access results in myACCA, what your score means, and what to do whether you pass or fail.
ACCA results days are among the most anticipated — and nerve-wracking — events in a student's calendar. This guide covers everything you need to know about ACCA results days in 2026: when results are released, how to access them, what the different outcomes mean, and what to do next whatever the result.
ACCA Results Day Dates 2026
ACCA results are typically released approximately 6–8 weeks after each exam session closes. The four main exam sessions and approximate results release dates for 2026: March session: results typically released in mid-May 2026. June session: results typically released in mid-August 2026. September session: results typically released in mid-November 2026. December session: results typically released in late January / early February 2027. CBE Applied Knowledge results (FA, MA, BT) are instant — you receive your result immediately on screen at the exam centre.
How to Access Your Results
ACCA results are available through your myACCA account at accaglobal.com. You will receive an email notification when results are available. Log in to myACCA → Exam results to view your score and pass/fail status for each paper. ACCA does not release results by phone or post — the myACCA portal is the only official source.
Understanding Your ACCA Result
ACCA exams are marked on a scale of 0–100. The pass mark is 50 for all papers. If you score 50 or above — you have passed. The paper is credited to your ACCA account and you do not need to sit it again. If you score below 50 — you have not passed this sitting. You will receive a feedback report showing your performance by section, which is essential for planning your resit. The highest possible mark is 100, though marks in the high 80s–90s are uncommon in Strategic Professional papers.
If You Pass
Congratulations. Log in to myACCA to confirm the paper is recorded. Check your total papers passed — you may be eligible to proceed to the next level or sit the Ethics and Professional Skills module if you have completed all 13 papers. Update your CV and LinkedIn to reflect your progress. Celebrate — passing ACCA papers is a genuine achievement for working professionals.
If You Don't Pass
A fail is not the end — it is information. Download your examiner feedback report from myACCA. Identify specifically where you lost marks: was it lack of knowledge, poor exam technique, running out of time, or misreading questions? Adjust your preparation approach before your resit — do not simply repeat the same study method that did not work. Most ACCA members resit at least one paper across the full qualification. Resitting is normal and does not mean you are not cut out for ACCA.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I appeal my ACCA result? ACCA does not offer grade appeals on marked responses. However, you can request an administrative check to ensure your paper was processed correctly — this is available for a fee within a specified window after results release. Check the ACCA website for the current appeals process.
How long do ACCA results stay valid? ACCA exam results do not expire — passes remain on your record indefinitely. There is no time limit for completing the qualification.
