ACCA Exam Sessions 2026
ACCA runs four session-based exam windows per year for Applied Skills and Strategic Professional papers. Applied Knowledge papers (BT, MA, FA) are available on demand via CBE year-round and results are typically available within 72 hours.
| Session | Exam Dates | Results Release |
|---|---|---|
| March 2026 | 2–6 March 2026 | 11 April 2026 |
| June 2026 | 1–5 June 2026 | 13 July 2026 |
| September 2026 | 7–11 September 2026 | 19 October 2026 |

Key Entry Deadlines 2026
| Session | Standard Entry Deadline | Late Entry Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| March 2026 | 26 January 2026 | 2 February 2026 |
| June 2026 | 16 April 2026 | No late entry for this session |
| September 2026 | 27 July 2026 | 3 August 2026 |

Important: The June 2026 session has no late entry period — standard entry is the final deadline. Missing it means waiting for September.
Applied Knowledge Results (On-Demand CBE)
If you sat BT, MA, or FA via on-demand CBE, your provisional result is shown on screen immediately after completing the exam. The official result is confirmed in MyACCA within 72 hours. No session window applies — you can sit and receive results any time throughout the year.
Applied Skills Results (Session-Based CBE)
Applied Skills papers (LW, PM, TX, FR, AA, FM) are marked by ACCA and released on the scheduled results dates. On results day you will see: Pass or Fail result, your numerical score (percentage), breakdown by syllabus section, and accumulated exam credit.
The section-by-section breakdown is particularly useful for resit planning — it shows which areas of the syllabus cost you marks so you can target your revision.
Strategic Professional Results
Strategic Professional results (SBL, SBR, AFM, APM, ATX, AAA) are released on the same schedule as Applied Skills. Given that SBL and some options involve extended written responses requiring human marking, results come out approximately 5–6 weeks after the exam session closes.
For SBL and the four-hour written papers, your result will show both your technical marks and professional skills marks separately.
How to Access Your ACCA Results
Log in to MyACCA (myacca.accaglobal.com) using your ACCA student registration number and password. Navigate to the "My Exams" or "Results" section. Your results will appear on results day, typically from 6am (UTC) — though the portal can be slow in the first few hours due to high traffic.
Tips for results day: Do not try to access the portal at exactly 6am — traffic is heaviest then. Try at 7am or 8am for a smoother experience. Have your student registration number to hand.
Understanding Your ACCA Result
If You Pass
Your pass is confirmed and the paper is permanently credited to your ACCA record. You cannot retake a paper you have passed. Check your ACCA record in MyACCA to confirm the paper is marked as passed, then update your study plan. If you have now completed all 13 papers plus the Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM), you can apply for affiliate status and then membership.
If You Fail
A fail result includes your score and the section breakdown. ACCA's minimum pass mark is 50%. Review the section breakdown carefully, then read the Examiner's Report for your sitting (published a few weeks after results). You can resit from the next available session. Common reasons for failing ACCA exams: insufficient question practice, poor time management, attempting too many papers at once, and not engaging with past exam questions under timed conditions.
ACCA Exam Entry and Results Timeline
| Milestone | Typical Timeline |
|---|---|
| Standard entry deadline | ~10–11 weeks before exam window |
| Late entry deadline (where available) | ~5 weeks before exam window |
| Exam window | 5-day window per session |
| Results release | 5–6 weeks after exam window closes |
| Examiner's reports published | 4–6 weeks after results |
| Resit earliest available | Next exam session |
ACCA Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM)
The EPSM is not an exam with a scheduled results date — it is an online module completed in your own time. You must complete the EPSM to apply for ACCA membership, even after passing all 13 papers. It takes approximately 8–10 hours to complete and is marked as complete/incomplete rather than pass/fail.
