This course will help you develop a basic understanding of how an auditor can use MS Excel spreadsheets for data analytics.

The course first introduces the concept of data analytics and explains its relevance for the audit profession. The course then refreshes the basic concepts of statistics that play fundamental role in data analytics.

The course then shows how we can use different features of the MS Excel to perform data analytics.

The template prepared in the course will help give you an idea of how to perform data analytics, you can customise this template based on client and assignment needs.

This course is made up of videos, questions and additional reading materials and accounts for 12 units of CPD. One unit is the equivalent of one hour of learning.
