If you are planning to visit Learnsignal in Dublin, whether for a training session, a team workshop or a conversation about what your team needs, this guide covers what to expect: where we are, what the space offers, how to arrange a visit and how to plan your journey. It sets out what we can say with confidence, and where something depends on your session, it says to check with us first.

Where we are

Our Dublin office is listed on our contact page as Fleming Court, Fleming Place, Dublin 4, D04 N4X9. It is off Baggot Street, a short distance from Dublin city centre. Our contact page also gives a phone number, +353 1 233 7437, and the email address support@learnsignal.com, with phone and live chat available Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm GMT. Contact details and hours can change, so check the contact page on our website before you rely on them.

What the space offers

Our Dublin premises are a working office as well as a place where we hold sessions. Here is what we can tell you about them:

  • Two offices and a brainstorming area. The space includes two offices and an area set aside for brainstorming and group discussion.
  • Twenty desks upstairs. There are twenty desks upstairs.
  • Meeting facilities. Meeting space and a projector or screen are available. Rooms and equipment can differ from one session to another, so we confirm the set-up for your session when we arrange it.
  • Step-free access. The premises have step-free access. If anyone in your group has access needs, tell us when you arrange the visit so we can confirm the details for the room you will use.
  • Refreshments. Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided. If anyone has dietary requirements, let us know in advance.

We do not quote a maximum group size or a room capacity here, because that depends on the session and the room. Ask us when you enquire.

Training sessions at the Dublin office

Sessions are held at our Dublin office. Learnsignal's Live Training for Teams page describes private workshops, live webinars and tailored programmes for finance teams, delivered live online or onsite. Where a team prefers to be onsite, the page says delivery is at a location agreed with the team, which can be our Dublin office or the team's own premises.

The same page lists the topics teams can work on, including financial reporting and accounting standards, tax and VAT, audit, ethics and governance, AI, Excel and data skills, planning and cash flow, corporate finance, sustainability and leadership. Our Live Training for Teams page has the full list. For the wider picture of choosing between formats, see our guide to in-person finance training in Dublin.

Arranging a visit

Please contact us before you turn up. We ask visitors to arrange a visit in advance so that we can confirm the date, the room and who will meet you. Use the contact page or call the number above during the hours listed. When you get in touch, it helps to tell us:

  • who is coming and roughly how many people
  • what you would like to do, such as attend a session, discuss a training plan or see the space
  • your preferred date and time
  • any access, dietary or equipment needs

Planning your journey

We have not published detailed directions or walking times, because we would rather you use a live planner than rely on a page that may go out of date. Our suggestion is to put the postcode D04 N4X9 into the Transport for Ireland journey planner, which covers Dublin Bus, Luas, DART and rail, and to check the timetable for the day you travel.

For orientation only: Dublin Bus lists a route 37 service that runs between Blanchardstown Centre and Baggot Street, and Luas publishes stop pages for Charlemont and Harcourt on its Dublin network. Whether a particular service suits your journey depends on where you are starting from, so treat these as pointers, not directions. If you are driving, check parking and charges for the area before you set off, since we do not control them.

How to get the most from an in-person session

These are our suggestions, and they apply to any in-person training, not only ours.

  1. Agree the goal beforehand. A clear outcome, such as a shared close checklist or a team that can use a forecast model, makes the day more useful than a general topic.
  2. Send any documents early. If the tutor is going to use your own examples, share them before the session so they can be reviewed and handled sensibly.
  3. Bring a laptop only if it is needed. Ask whether the activities require one, and what software should be installed.
  4. Plan your attendance record. If people will log the session as CPD, ask what record they will receive, and check your professional body's rules in advance. Our guide to CPD record keeping explains the principle of keeping evidence, and your own body decides what counts.
  5. Leave time for follow-up. Agree who will act on what comes out of the day, and when.

In-person or online?

In-person suits discussion-heavy topics and team exercises, and the brainstorming area is there for that kind of work. Live online suits teams spread across several locations. If you are unsure, tell us what you want to achieve and we can talk through the options. Neither is better in every case.

Learnsignal's offices are off Baggot Street in Dublin, and we offer in-person training from there. For current details, see our CPD pages.
