My ACCA (myacca.accaglobal.com) is the online portal where ACCA students and members manage their entire relationship with ACCA — from first registration through to full membership. If you are new to ACCA or have just registered, here is a practical guide to every section of the portal and what you will use it for.

Accessing My ACCA

The portal is at myacca.accaglobal.com. You log in with the email address you registered with ACCA and your chosen password. If you have forgotten your login details, use the "Forgot password" link on the login page — ACCA will send a reset link to your registered email. If your email address has changed since you registered, you need to contact ACCA student support to update it before you can use password reset.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in, the dashboard shows your current status at a glance: your ACCA student number, which papers you have passed or been exempted from, your current annual subscription status, and any outstanding actions (such as uploading documents or completing exam entries). This is your starting point for all portal activity.

Exam Entry and Booking

This is the section students use most frequently. ACCA exams are offered in four sittings per year: March, June, September, and December. For each sitting, you need to enter the exams you wish to sit during an entry window that typically opens approximately four months before the exam date. To enter an exam:

  • Go to "My Exams" in the portal
  • Select the sitting you want to enter
  • Choose the paper(s) you wish to sit
  • Select your exam centre (city and venue)
  • Pay the exam fee — fees are lower for early entry and increase for standard and late entry

Once your entry is confirmed, you will receive an exam confirmation email and can view your exam schedule in "My Exams". Your admit card (exam entry document) is available to download approximately two weeks before the exam date.

Exemption Applications

If you are entitled to exemptions based on a prior qualification, you apply for them through the portal under "My Exemptions". You will need to upload your degree certificate and academic transcript. ACCA reviews your documents and confirms your exemptions — this process typically takes several weeks. Once confirmed, your exempted papers appear in your record as "exempt" and you do not need to enter them as exams.

PER Tracker (Practical Experience Requirement)

ACCA requires all students to complete a Practical Experience Requirement (PER) — a minimum of three years of relevant supervised professional experience in accounting or finance — before they can become full ACCA members. The My ACCA portal includes a PER tracker where you log your experience against ACCA's nine performance objectives (5 essential + 4 optional). Your workplace supervisor (who must be a qualified accountant) can be linked through the portal to confirm and sign off your experience. You can begin logging PER at any point during your studies — you do not need to wait until your exams are complete.

Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM)

The Ethics and Professional Skills Module is a mandatory online learning module that all ACCA students must complete before becoming members. It is accessible through the portal and takes approximately 20 hours to work through. It covers ethics, professional scepticism, and business communication. You can start this at any time during your studies and complete it at your own pace.

Subscriptions and Payments

Under "My Membership", you can view your current annual subscription status and pay your subscription renewal. Annual subscriptions are due on 1 January each year. If your subscription lapses, your registration becomes suspended and you cannot enter exams until the subscription is paid and reinstated.

If you are still working out how many papers you need to sit, our guide on using the ACCA exemption calculator covers how to check your entitlement before registering. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my exam centre after booking?

Exam centre changes are possible up to a certain deadline before the exam date. Check the ACCA website for current amendment deadlines — late changes may incur a fee.

What happens if I fail to pay my annual subscription?

Your registration becomes suspended. You will not be able to sit exams until your subscription is paid. ACCA typically sends reminder emails before suspension. If you reinstates after suspension, any confirmed exam entries may need to be re-made.

How do I update my personal details in the portal?

Most personal details (name, contact information, address) can be updated directly through the "My Profile" section of the portal. For changes to your legal name, ACCA may require supporting documentation such as a marriage certificate or deed poll.
