ACCA Exemptions: Warwick, Birmingham and Midlands University Graduates
ACCA Exemptions for Midlands University Graduates
Graduates from the University of Warwick, University of Birmingham, Aston University, and other Midlands universities with accounting and finance degrees are typically eligible for significant ACCA exemptions — often 6–9 papers depending on degree programme and modules studied.
Warwick Business School Graduates
Warwick's Accounting and Finance BSc is accredited by ACCA, meaning graduates typically receive exemptions from the Applied Knowledge papers and several Applied Skills papers. Warwick's strong quantitative curriculum means FM (Financial Management) and PM (Performance Management) exemptions are commonly awarded alongside the core accounting papers.
University of Birmingham Graduates
Birmingham's Accounting and Finance programmes are similarly accredited. Graduates should check the ACCA exemptions calculator with their specific degree title as exemptions vary between the BSc Accounting, BSc Accounting and Finance, and BSc Finance programmes.
How to Claim
Visit accaglobal.com and use the exemptions calculator. Select your university, degree programme, and graduation year. Pay the exemption fee (approximately £84 per paper) for confirmed exemptions. This is significantly cheaper than sitting and studying for papers you are exempt from.
