When Are ACCA Results Released?

ACCA results for session-based exams (Applied Skills and Strategic Professional) are released approximately six to eight weeks after the exam sitting. March exam results are typically released in late April or May; June results in late July or August; September results in October or November; December results in late January or February. ACCA publishes exact results release dates on their website before each sitting window.

How to Access Your Results

Log into your ACCA online account at myacca.accaglobal.com on results day. Results are released at a fixed time — typically early morning UK time. The site can be slow immediately after release due to high traffic; if you cannot access it, try again after 30 minutes.

Understanding Your Result

Results show pass or fail and your percentage score. If you have failed, ACCA provides a breakdown by question or syllabus area for Strategic Professional papers — this is available in your online account and is essential for planning your resit. Applied Knowledge and on-demand CBE results are available immediately after sitting.

If You Pass

Celebrate — genuinely. ACCA papers are hard and a pass represents real achievement. Update your CV and LinkedIn immediately while the achievement is fresh. If you have now completed a level, check whether you qualify for any exemptions from the next level or whether there are other milestones to record in your My Experience record.

If You Fail

Give yourself time before going into problem-solving mode. Look at your breakdown, read our guide on recovering from a fail, and book your resit with a clear improvement plan in mind. Most people who fail a paper pass it on resit when they adjust their approach.

Sharing Your Results

Whether to share results with your employer depends on your relationship and the stakes. If your employer funds your studies, they may expect to be told. If you are self-funding, the choice is yours. Most managers are supportive regardless of the outcome.
